Dawn of a New Era

We are in the last year of 2008. In fact, we are only 12 days away from 2009! I don't know about you guys but this year has flawn by so fast. It had a lot of ups and downs, tears and regrets.. Above all, it has brought along many successes too.

In the year 2008, I have experienced things that I have never experienced in my life before. For example, I've graduated from high school, started college, met new people that are now a big part of my life. I have also started my driving lessons. Basically, I have started a whole new chapter in my life in the year 2008. And I'm certainly looking forward for 2009.

My new year's resolutions are:

- Work hard to achieve a better GPA
- Be a better muslim
- Grow my nails
- Lose weight
- Get my driving licence

To all my classmates..

Dear classmates of '08,

The time has finally come, for us to depart. It may feel like the end, but it's just the start. It's our time to spread our wings and to fly high. It's our time to leave, to use what we have learned throughout all those years at Al Sahwa Schools.

My beloved classmates, how can I say farewell to you? Your presence have made this year worthwhile. You've created all the happy moments we spent together. And you've made the sad times seem bearable. Remember the laughs, the dances and the songs during breaks? The anxiety and pain during exams? Remember how we turned a boring lesson into a funny one? We've formed a strong bond this year; a bond that will never be broken.

As we say our goodbyes and cry our last tears, I want you all to look back on the drama and the laughter, and laugh it all off. Oh, how the years have flown fast! Hadn't it all been a blast?

My classmates, I want you to know that you'll always remain in my heart no matter how far we may be. You are the best friends I've ever had. I'll miss you.

Broken Bond

This poem was written around 30 minutes ago; I had this feeling of anger so basicly I wrote exactly what's in my heart.

Broken Bond

Anger builds up rapidly as I see you,
It destroys me like a spreading disease
I’m so close to explosion,
Like a raging volcano.

The harsh, cold words you speak,
Are as hollow as your love
You are the core of evil,
And you’re the one to blame.

I’m trying to control my anger,
But now I realize that it’s time to face my fear
The bond we had is now broken
And the love sparkle has gone.

I wish if you could leave,
Because I’m unable to take it anymore
I’m sitting here, wanting to hide
Just let me be, in a world of peace.
